Born in 1991, Jamie has been playing bagpipes for the past 12 years. He started playing bagpipes at 51 Air Cadet  Squadron and have played in a couple of band since then, such as; Sam Scott Memorial Pipe Band, 78th Fraser Pipes and Drums Ottawa. Now he is Pipe Sergeant and bagpipe instructor for Ottawa Caledonian Pipes and Drums. Though Jamie's career as a parade and event piper he has been given the opportunity to play across North America.

As pipe-sergeant of the Ottawa Caledonian Pipes and Drums Jamie contributes greatly to teaching all the members and aiding the pipe-major in arranging the tunes and he balances the need for musical perfection all the while ensuring that each and every members are enjoying themselves throughout the year.
