Journey to becoming a P&D musician :

I started my pipe band career playing in the Sons of Scotland Pipe Band, later becoming the Ogilvie Pipe Band. I've also played with the CFB Ottawa Pipes and Drums, Ottawa Police Service Pipe Band, Ottawa Highlanders and the 78th Fraser Highlanders Ottawa Pipes and Drums.

After taking a brief break from pipe bands, Allan currently serves as our lead tip and instructor. Allan is also a civilian drumming instructor for Cadets Canada and involved in many regional cadet music functions.

Best Band Story :

As a young lad, camping at Maxville felt more like the wild wild west, waking up the day after to find a few partied out bandsmen (probably drummers) sleeping under our truck.
